Responsibilities :

• Patient Consultation : Conduct thorough medical interviews to gather information about patients' medical history, symptoms, and lifestyle
• Perform physical examinations to assess patients' overall health
• Diagnosis and Treatment : Analyze medical test results, such as blood tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic tools
• Formulate accurate diagnoses based on gathered information and test results
• Develop and implement treatment plans, which may include medications, surgery, or other therapeutic interventions
• Prescription and Medication Management : Prescribe appropriate medications and dosage, considering the patient's condition, medical history, and potential interactions
• Monitor and adjust medication regimens as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Procedures and Surgeries : Perform minor medical procedures within their scope of practice
• Refer patients to specialists for advanced procedures or surgeries when necessary
• Health Promotion and Disease Prevention : Educate patients about preventive healthcare measures and lifestyle modifications
• Conduct screenings for various conditions and recommend immunizations
• Record Keeping : Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient
• Document diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up plans in the patient's medical history
• Collaboration with Healthcare Team : Collaborate with nurses, specialists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases and coordinate care
• Continuing Medical Education : Stay current with medical research, advancements, and best practices
• Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education to maintain licensure and enhance skills
• Compliance with Ethical and Legal Standards : Adhere to ethical and legal standards of medical practice
• Ensure patient confidentiality and privacy
• Emergency Care : Respond to medical emergencies, providing immediate care and stabilization
• Coordinate with emergency medical services and other healthcare providers as needed
