Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager- Promotion Analyst!
The Promotion Analyst will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of Promotional strategic priorities as well as supporting promo optimization and reporting. This role requires an excellent collaborator, communicator and analyst with hands-on data experience. Reporting to the Director of Promotion Analytics, in this role you will leverage your analytical skills to conduct analysis on large data sets and to derive insights from the analysis. The successful candidate is a problem solver in a fast-moving and highly diverse environment and will be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and timeliness are not compromised.

Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities :
- . Build in-depth knowledge of promotional priorities while collaborating with the Promo Analytics team and with the Promo Analytics Manager in the development of Future of Promo Strategy
- . Prepare required ongoing reporting to support Future of Promo activity
- . Conduct quantitative analysis to develop recommendations that optimize promotional funding to maximize ROI
- . Execute the measurement of in-market promo tests to derive learnings and improve the effectiveness of promotional activities
- . Collaborate with merchandising and marketing teams to drive stronger promotional effectiveness
- . Relevant experience in retail or consumer products analytics, such as Merchandising, Pricing, Marketing Analytics or Strategy.
- . Advanced Excel skills must be proficient on formulas, V-lookups, and Pivot Tables
- . Ability to learn quickly, becoming an expert in previously unfamiliar topics (e.g. business concepts, analytical tools)
- . Hands on experience with SQL queries a plus
- . Hands on experience with Python a plus
- . Hands on experience with Tableau a plus
- . Strong strategic, analytical and critical thinking skills strong bias towards data-based decision making with the ability to break down complex problems and formulate plans.
- . Collaborative working style : openness to different points of view, empathy and good listening skills to enable collaboration with our internal clients (Merchandising, Marketing, etc.)
- . Inquisitive mind : going beyond the immediate task at hand to identify implication, next steps or questioning the assumptions of the work / how we look at things
