What Do We Expect From You
As a Senior Architect focused on Technology within Product Architecture, you will address a critical gap in senior design ownership across multiple OSS domains. This role is key to defining robust, reusable design patterns and ensuring all product increments align with core architectural principles. Your expertise will be crucial in driving technical consistency, accelerating development velocity, and ensuring the long-term scalability and maintainability of our OSS product portfolio.
Responsibilities :
Cross-Domain Architectural Design & Ownership :
- Provide senior design ownership and architectural guidance across various OSS domains, ensuring coherent and consistent solutions.
- Lead the design of complex features and components, ensuring they are scalable, performant, and aligned with overall product architecture.
- Translate product requirements and strategic objectives into clear, actionable architectural specifications and designs.
Horizontal Architectural Convergence :
Lead the architectural design efforts to achieve convergence and seamless interoperability across service assurance, orchestration, and network slicing domains.Define common architectural patterns, APIs, and data models that enable these distinct but interconnected domains to work cohesively.Identify and resolve architectural conflicts or redundancies between different product components to ensure a unified solution.Reusable Design Patterns & Frameworks :
Identify, define, and promote the adoption of reusable design patterns, architectural frameworks, and best practices across product teams.Develop and maintain architectural blueprints and reference implementations to guide engineering efforts.Drive standardization of technologies and approaches where appropriate to reduce complexity and improve efficiency.End-to-End Solution Architecture :
Architect comprehensive end-to-end solutions that span multiple OSS functions, ensuring data flow, control planes, and user experiences are harmonized.Collaborate with individual domain architects (e.g., Assurance, Orchestration, Slicing) to align their specific designs with the overarching convergence strategy.Ensure architectural designs support future scalability, resilience, and extensibility across the converged domains.Roadmap Alignment & Execution
Translate product roadmap initiatives into detailed architectural plans, prioritizing efforts that enhance convergence and interoperability.Work closely with product management and engineering leads to break down large initiatives into manageable architectural increments.Anticipate future technical challenges related to cross-domain integration and proactively design solutions.QUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE :
Qualifications :
10+ years of hands-on experience in software architecture and design, with a significant focus on large-scale OSS or enterprise software.Proven experience in providing senior design ownership across multiple, diverse technology domains.Demonstrated ability to define and implement reusable architectural patterns and principles.Strong background in designing scalable, highly available, and resilient distributed systems.Technical Skills
Deep understanding of modern software architecture principles (e.g., microservices, event-driven, domain-driven design).Expertise in cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, Docker) and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).Proficient in one or more application development languages (e.g., Go, Python, Java, C / C++).Strong knowledge of databases (SQL / NoSQL), messaging queues, and caching technologies.Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and CI / CD pipelines.Domain Knowledge
Familiarity with telecom operational data, including network telemetry, service topology / graphs, and alarm / event data.Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
Exceptional analytical skills to identify data relationships, inconsistencies, and design optimal data structures.Strong problem-solving abilities for complex data integration and quality challenges.Collaboration & Communication
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to articulate complex data architectural concepts to technical and business stakeholders.Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, driving consensus on data standards.Educational Background
