Freelance Machine Learning Engineer

Looking for a Freelance Machine Learning Engineer to join a team of rockstar developers. The candidate should have a minimum of 8+ yrs. of experience.

Company Background - We are a multinational software company that is growing at a fast pace. We have offices in Florida & New Delhi. Our clientele spreads across the US, Australia & APAC. To give you a sense of our growth rate, we've added 70+ employees in the last 6 weeks itself and expect another 125+ by the end of Q4 2025.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy ML models into production-grade environments.

Set up and manage MLOps pipelines for continuous training, monitoring, and versioning.

Automate workflows for data processing, model deployment, and CI / CD.

Work closely with engineering and product teams to translate business needs into ML solutions.

Implement model performance monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.

Optimize ML workloads for scalability, cost, and performance in cloud environments.

Ensure best practices in security, governance, and reproducibility.

Must-Have Skills

Machine Learning & AI : Model development, training, evaluation, and optimization.

MLOps : Model deployment, monitoring, ML pipelines, experiment tracking (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow).

DevOps : CI / CD, containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes).

Python : Advanced proficiency with ML libraries and automation.

Cloud Platforms : AWS / GCP / Azure (any one or more).

Version Control & Automation : Git, scripting, workflow automation.

Good to Have

Experience with distributed systems and data pipelines.

Knowledge of LLMs, RAG, Vector DBs, or GPU-based training.

Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
