Role Title : Business Analyst
Position Summary :
The Business Analyst (BA) for the Digital Brand Experiences team plays a pivotal role in enabling Marriott’s digital transformation across brand and marketing sites by bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The BA partners closely with product managers, UX designers, engineering leads, and content authors to translate business needs into actionable requirements and ensure seamless execution across squads.
Job Responsibilities :
- Requirements Gathering & Documentation : Collaborate with stakeholders and product squad to elicit, analyze, refine, and document business requirements for Digital Brand Experiences initiatives, including new brand site launches, new components / capabilities, and platform enhancements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work with product owners, UX, engineering, and QA teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented accurately.
- Digital Experience Optimization : Support efforts to track, measure, and improve digital KPIs such as traffic, engagement, and conversion across brand sites. Leverage analytics tools to identify trends and recommend enhancements.
- Design Standards & Accessibility Compliance : Ensure that all requirements and deliverables adhere to Marriott’s digital design standards and meet ADA accessibility guidelines. Collaborate with UX, Product and engineering teams to validate compliance and support inclusive design practices.
- Process Improvement & Operational Efficiency : Identify opportunities to streamline workflows across intake and requirements gathering. Recommend process enhancements that improve velocity, reduce rework, and increase cross-team transparency.
- Project Coordination & Intake Management : Support the intake and prioritization of stakeholder requests using Jira and other tools. Ensure alignment with strategic initiatives and ROI-driven decision-making.
- Support Documentation : Create and maintain detailed technical support documentation, including process flows, troubleshooting guides, and system configuration references to ensure consistent knowledge sharing and operational continuity across teams.
Skill and Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Marketing, or related field.4-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Product Manager, preferably in digital product or web platform environments.Proven track record in conceptualizing, designing, and delivering successful digital products or services, showcasing a deep understanding of user needs and market trends.Deep expertise in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe), strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to remove blockers while aligning teams on priorities and delivery goals.Familiarity with tools like Jira and Confluence.Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to clearly communicate ideas and results in English.Preferred experienceHospitality or travel industry experience.Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, or similar tools.Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).Education and Certifications :
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience / certificationWork location : Hyderabad, India.
