Position Overview

Senior Data Engineer –

Experience with 8-12yrs of Experience

Experience (internships, academic projects, or entry-level roles) in designing and developing data pipelines.

Exposure to Cloud data warehouse - Snowflake through coursework, projects, or training.

Basic understanding of ETL tools like Azure Data Factory, Fivetran, or DBT (hands-on experience in academic settings or internships preferred).

Familiarity with Git and Azure DevOps for version control and CI / CD processes.

Understanding of Agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence.

Knowledge of SQL programming (views, functions, stored procedures); ability to write and optimize basic SQL queries.

Exposure to Azure architecture and Data Lake concepts.

Eager to learn, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Ability to understand business requirements and ask the right questions to clarify tasks.

Basic understanding of performance tuning and handling moderate-sized data transformations.

Ability to create simple data flows and assist in solution design under guidance.

Willingness to contribute to documentation (e.g., mapping, defect logs).

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

Strong foundational knowledge of SQL for querying databases.

Primary : Snowflake, DBT (development & testing)

Secondary : Python, ETL tools, or any data processing framework

Nice to have : Basic understanding of healthcare data and domain-specific concepts
