We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Technical Project Manager to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in software development or technical coordination who wants to move into a project leadership role.
The Junior Technical Project Manager will assist in planning, executing, and delivering software or technology projects on time and within scope.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams-including developers, QA engineers, designers, and senior managers-to ensure project requirements are met, risks are managed, and communication is clear and timely.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Break down project requirements into manageable tasks, milestones, and timelines.
- Coordinate daily / weekly stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Maintain and update project documentation, including timelines, risk logs, and meeting notes.
- Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams.
- Ensure team members are aligned with priorities and deadlines.
- Monitor team workloads and help identify blockers or inefficiencies.
- Facilitate communication between development, QA, product, and design teams.
- Track project progress using tools like Jira, Trello, Asana, or similar.
- Generate status reports and update stakeholders on timelines, risks, and deliverables.
- Assist with resource planning and scheduling.
- Identify, assess, and escalate project risks and issues in a timely manner.
- Support the resolution of blockers and coordinate escalations when needed.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with QA teams for testing cycles and releases.
- Support deployment and release management efforts when required.
Qualifications : Must-Have :
1-3 years of experience in a project coordinator, technical support, or junior project manager role.Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban).Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, ClickUp, Asana, or Trello.Basic technical knowledge (e.g., APIs, databases, Git, cloud platforms, or web development).Strong verbal and written communication skills.Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment(ref : hirist.tech)
