Interaction Designer

About the Role

We are seeking an Interaction Designer with hands-on experience designing AI-powered products . You will be responsible for translating user needs into intuitive, engaging, and functional interaction flows for applications where AI plays a central role. This role demands both a strong foundation in human-centered design principles and an understanding of how AI systems influence user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with product managers, AI engineers, and UX / UI designers to design seamless user interactions for AI-driven applications.

Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and user flows that bring AI capabilities to life in a clear and human-friendly manner.

Understand AI model behavior and constraints to design effective input / output experiences (e.g., prompt design, conversation flows, error states).

Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on feedback and behavioral data.

Ensure accessibility, ethical design, and trust-building in AI interactions.

Advocate for a design process that considers explainability, transparency, and user control when working with AI features.

Work with developers to ensure design intent is maintained through implementation.

Requirements

2–4 years of experience as an Interaction Designer, UX Designer, or related role, with at least 1 year working on AI-enabled products (e.g., chatbots, generative AI tools, recommendation engines, computer vision interfaces).

Strong portfolio showcasing interaction design work, preferably with AI or data-driven features.

Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.

Understanding of AI-specific UX challenges like uncertainty handling, user trust, and model explainability.

Ability to translate technical AI concepts into intuitive user experiences.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience in conversational UI / voice interface design.

Exposure to usability testing methods and analytics tools.

Familiarity with human-AI interaction research and emerging design patterns.

Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles.
