This Position reports to :

Senior Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to design, engineering, testing and commissioning of Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS). You will be part of global engineering team supporting 20+ countries in delivering Functional Safety Lifecyle activities for process industries.

This role is contributing to the Process Automation business for Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India.

You will be mainly accountable for :

• Experienced in the selection, specification, configuration, testing and maintenance of safety instrumented systems (SIS)following IEC 61508 / 61511.
• Experience in oil & gas process knowledge, strong understanding of process units and business drivers.
• Experience and knowledge of instrument and control systems through design and field installation.
• Ability to design and engineer SIS using safety requirements specifications, alarm specification, cause and effect diagrams, system block diagrams, logic narratives and function / logic block diagrams.
• Proficient with SIS hardware design, system design, software design, application programming and HMI graphics development.
• Proficient with SIS design including functional design specifications, response time calculations, test specifications and SIL verification calculations.
