Responsibilities
- Manage the design and detailing process for precast structures, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget constraints
- Collaborate with cross-functional (internal and external) teams including architects, engineers, Precast Consultants, Project Manager and contractors to develop innovative and cost-effective design solutions
- Review and approve precast designs, general arrangement, erection drawings, shop drawings, and construction documents to guarantee accuracy and compliance with industry standards
- Implement best practices for precast design and detailing to optimize efficiency and minimize waste during the construction process
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior design and detailing team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
- Conduct regular site visits to assess precast installation and address any design or detailing issues that may arise during the construction phase
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and materials to incorporate innovative design elements into precast structures
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and quality control measures throughout the design and detailing process
- Communicate with project stakeholders to present design proposals, address feedback, and make necessary revisions to meet client requirements
- Prepare and present reports, proposals, and presentations to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and project updates.
- Mentor and coach team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Keep Document Control Index and master track of all drawings and documents, report the status of planned vs achieved.
Qualifications
8 - 15 years of experience in the Real Estate industry with a focus on precast design and detailing.Bachelor's degree in civil engineering / Structural Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred.Professional certification in structural design or precast concrete detailing is highly preferredSkills Required
