Senior Technician-Electrical

Key Responsibilities : Understanding of individual project deliverables. Coordinating with internal and external resources to complete the project deliverables Assist OEMs for installation of new equipment's / systems, support and verify electrical control wiring, safety interlocks of the new equipment's / systems. Troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices. Proactively look for abnormalities related to EHS, GMP, equipment failures and resolve / communicate to supervisor for support in resolution Carry out estimate of materials and create BOM for the new project electrical requirements and consumables Support cross functional team members to meet the company / plant KPI targets Daily Activities : Manage OEMs / Contractor workforce entry into the site, complete safety induction. Familiarize external resources about company work policies, procedures, Dos and Don’ts Initiate relevant work permits for each OEM / Contractor for each location and close the permits at the end of day Follow Good Engineering Practices and Good Manufacturing Practices Maintain general hygiene and housekeeping of in all project location. Follow line clearance protocols after project execution. Maintain the project consumables and hardware stock & update supervisor the stock requirements. Maintain project storeroom in organized manner for easy identification and retrieval. Profile : Qualification : ITI – Electrical or Diploma in electrical Experience : 6-8 years in project execution / maintenance function in processed food / Agro Industries Additional Certification : ‘ C’ License desirable not mandatory Computer Proficiency : Beginner English Language Proficiency : User Additional requirement : NIL Technical Competencies Electrical safety standards, Problem Solving & control logics understanding Ability to understand electrical drawings, circuits and wiring installation Basics of automation and control systems Hard Skills Good knowledge of electrical installations for processed food industry. Good knowledge of wiring / cabling control panels, distribution panels and MV panels Hands on experience in cable tray installation, Cable routing and dressing etc. Soft Skills Good communication skills and fluency in English and Tamil Record keeping and documentation Collaborate with internal and external resources
