Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Sourcing Engineer based in Ahmedabad. As a Senior Sourcing Engineer, you will oversee sourcing and procurement activities for manufacturing parts, liaise with suppliers, and ensure compliance with international quality standards. The role involves evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing cost reduction initiatives, and coordinating end-to-end sourcing processes. You will also collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide efficient manufacturing solutions that align with company goals.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in sourcing, procurement, and supplier evaluation
• Strong negotiation and cost management skills
• Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client-handling skills
• Familiarity with global supplier networks, especially in India and Western markets
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or sourcing environment
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
• Travel for Supplier Qualification and onboarding
• Develop a Supplier network for various manufacturing processes
