Mercer is seeking candidates to join our Remuneration Data Solutions (Career) team based in the Noida office. This is a hybrid role that requires working in the office at least three days a week.

Lead Specialist – Implementation Services (D1)

What Can You Expect?

The Senior Implementer position aims to develop expert knowledge of the survey implementation process. This role involves working on complex and customized system implementations for surveys, including database creation, report coding, and supporting survey data processing tools to ensure high quality and minimize errors in survey setups.

The Senior Implementer independently coordinates projects, drives innovation, conducts training sessions, and performs detailed technical checks and peer reviews. They collaborate effectively with other internal teams, initiate meetings, and maintain an open and proactive approach. Additionally, the Senior Implementer provides ad-hoc solutions to both internal and external clients.

Team Members hired with additional programming skills, are creating and maintaining of internally developed tools.

We Will Rely on You To :

  • Support creation and management of survey databases using internal tools (GST and DART).
  • Manage data dictionaries, including objects, expressions, and relationships between survey data elements.
  • Prepare and conduct data audits.
  • Develop and code customized reports.
  • Set parameters for benefit valuation calculations.
  • Configure statistical calculations.
  • Build mappings between systems and perform data transformations.
  • Configure and manage the online survey reporting tool (WIN), including Market View setup and survey publication, report management, and client releases.
  • Coordinate technical implementation activities for the assigned region, collaborating with regional RDS teams to plan and prepare survey tools.
  • Ensure high-quality standards, follow documentation, and comply with workforce reporting requirements (JIRA).
  • Conduct technical and peer reviews, and support quality assurance / user acceptance testing.
  • Lead off-cycle projects related to survey setup and process improvements.
  • Provide tier 1 technical support to RDS analysts for tool-related issues.
  • Coordinate team tasks, participate in meetings, and collaborate with other teams to resolve issues.
  • Deliver high-quality, timely results to ensure internal client satisfaction and foster innovation.
  • Create, update, and maintain programming tools to improve and streamline survey data processes (for candidates with programming skills; as needed).

What You Need to Have :

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a similar position, such as database management, survey tool implementation, or statistical analysis.
  • Strong command of English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook; basic understanding of Excel VBA.
  • Solid grasp of relational database design and hands-on experience with relational database management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective time management and task prioritization skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
