Elanco - Principal Data Scientist - Machine Learning

Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Data Scientist to lead advanced analytics and AI initiatives.

This role requires deep expertise in machine learning, statistics, and MMX methodologies with proficiency in Python / R.

You will drive innovation, mentor teams, and deliver impactful business insights through data-driven Responsibilities :

• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of data science projects from ideation to deployment.
• Design and implement machine learning, AI, and statistical models to solve business problems.
• Partner with product, engineering, and business teams to define use cases and success criteria.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) and feature engineering.
• Develop and validate predictive models using Python or R.
• Implement MMX methodologies for marketing and business optimization.
• Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analysts.
• Communicate complex findings to senior stakeholders through visualizations and Skills & Qualifications :
• Proven expertise in data science, ML algorithms, and statistical modeling.
• Proficiency in Python and / or R, with experience in libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow.
• Strong understanding of MMX methodologies and their business applications.
• Experience in big data platforms and handling large-scale datasets.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
