Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage end-to-end Salesforce Billing projects — from requirements gathering and

solution design to deployment and post-production support.

  • Configure and customize Salesforce Billing functionality including pricing models, product

    • catalog setup, invoicing, payments, and revenue recognition.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, finance, and engineering teams to define and

    • streamline billing and revenue workflows.

  • Integrate Salesforce Billing with external systems such as Contracts, Payments, Tax,

    • Financials, and Product Usage.

  • Ensure compliance with Salesforce security, data privacy, and governance standards.
  • Work in an agile environment, managing deliverables using tools such as Jira.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and best practices to the development team.
  • Partner with finance and operations teams to enhance automation, reporting, and analytics

    • related to billing.

    Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience on the Salesforce platform, with deep expertise in Salesforce

    • Billing.

  • Proven knowledge of SaaS usage-based billing concepts – pricing, product catalogs, invoicing,

    • payments, and revenue recognition.

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce customization (objects, workflows, triggers, integrations).
  • Experience in integration architecture across Contracts, Billing, Financials, and Payments.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce security, data privacy, and governance standards.
  • Experience using Business Process Management tools such as Jira.
  • Exposure to Workday ERP or other financial systems is an added advantage.

    • Preferred Certifications :

  • Salesforce Certified Billing Specialist
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)

    • Leadership & Soft Skills :

  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and managing project delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills — ability to translate complex technical details into business-

    • friendly language.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
