QAQC Engineer- Contracting company-Residential- Mumbai

Job Purpose :

• To assist in implementing and maintaining quality assurance and control systems at
• construction sites to ensure that all materials and workmanship conform to approved
• drawings, specifications, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement quality control and quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with industry standards, customer specifications, and company policies
• Monitor QA / QC activities on-site, ensuring compliance with the project specifications, applicable codes, and companys quality policies.
• Inspect all the documents as well as construction activities and materials to ensure compliance with approved standards.
• Coordinate and witness third-party tests and inspections.
• Attending the meeting with the clients and management team.
• Coordinate for the the management review meetings and updating on the actions to be taken.
• Assist in preparing Method Statements, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), and Quality Checklists.
• Maintain and update QA / QC documentation, records, and reports.
• Issue NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Support internal and external audits and help ensure timely closure of audit findings.
• Conduct quality awareness and training programs for site personnel.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors on quality-related issues.
• Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of quality testing equipment.

Qualifications and Experience :

• B.E / M.E-Civil
• 10-15 years of experience in QA / QC roles within the construction or infrastructure
• industry preferably in high-rise building projects or commercial projects preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 : 2015 quality standards and QMS documentation.
• Strong understanding of quality control principles, statistical process control, and quality management systems
• Knowledge of construction materials, testing procedures, and relevant codes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross functional teams
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and quality certifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and QA / QC-related tools.
