Cloud Engineer - AWS Platform

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage and support AWS services including VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, Route 53, EKS, SSO, MSK, Security Hub, GuardDuty.
• Configure and troubleshoot advanced networking setups such as Transit Gateway (TGW) and Direct Connect for hybrid connectivity.
• Implement monitoring and observability using CloudWatch, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry (OTEL) with proactive alerting.
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform, GitLab CI / CD, and Shell scripting.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes (EKS) and Istio service mesh for traffic management, security, and observability.
• Perform security patching, vulnerability remediation, and compliance enforcement in cloud-native and containerized environments.
• Develop automation and infrastructure tooling using Python or Bash scripting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile / Scrum environment to deliver reliable cloud solutions.
• Ensure high availability, security, and cost optimization across AWS Technical Skills :
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS core services (VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, Route 53, EKS, etc.
• Expertise in networking and hybrid connectivity (TGW, Direct Connect).
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and CI / CD pipelines (GitLab).
• Container orchestration with Kubernetes (EKS) and Istio service mesh.
• Observability and monitoring using CloudWatch, Grafana, OTEL.
• Security tools & compliance : Security Hub, GuardDuty, patching, vulnerability management.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Required :
• 6 to 8 years of hands-on AWS cloud engineering and automation.
• 5+ years overall experience in Cloud Administration, Cloud Service Management, and Operations.
• Proven track record in troubleshooting, automation, and performance optimization
