Manager - R&D For BLDC Motor or PMSM Motor

We are seeking a highly skilled Manager - R&D with a strong background in Brushless DC (BLDC) motors or Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors (PMSM) . The ideal candidate will have expertise in EM simulation , motor design, and the complete product development lifecycle, from RFQ analysis to certification and reliability testing . You will be a key leader in our R&D efforts, responsible for collaborating with global teams and driving the design and validation of high-performance motors.

Key Responsibilities

• Motor Design & Development : Lead the design and development of BLDC or PMSM motors. This includes EM simulation , motor design benchmarking , and understanding SOR (Statement of Requirements) of EV motors from an RFQ standpoint.
• Certification & Reliability : Manage the entire motor design certification and reliability process. You will also be responsible for Controller tuning and ensuring both motor and controller meet certification and reliability standards.
• Project Management : Plan and manage project timelines . You will oversee DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and manage the preparation of prototypes .
• Team Collaboration & Validation : Work with a global engineering team to design motors. You will also be responsible for the testing and validation of motors to ensure they meet all performance and quality requirements.
