About Amadora

Amadora Ice Cream is a fast-growing, premium QSR ice cream brand built on great products and even greater people. As we expand across Chennai and beyond, we’re looking for a Junior Recruiter who can help us hire energetic, customer-obsessed teams for our stores and central support roles.

The Role

We need a smart, hands-on recruiter with 1–2 years of experience , preferably from QSR / food retail / hospitality , to drive end-to-end hiring for our outlets. This role is heavily execution-focused — on-the-ground hiring is a must-have skill . You’ll be out in the field running walk-ins, local sourcing drives, and store-level hiring to keep our teams strong and ready to serve happiness, one scoop at a time.

This is a full-time, Chennai-based role.

What You’ll Do

  • Own end-to-end recruitment for frontline roles :
  • Scooping Crew / Counter Staff / Store Associates / Shift Leads / Store Managers / Kitchen & Backroom Staff.
  • Deliver on-the-ground hiring : conduct walk-in drives, local sourcing camps, vendor / community tie-ups, and outlet visits across Chennai.
  • Partner with Area Managers and Store Leaders to understand manpower needs and reduce turnaround time.
  • Run high-volume, fast-paced hiring through walk-ins, referrals, job portals, local networks, and hiring events.
  • Screen profiles, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate final rounds with hiring managers.
  • Ensure a smooth candidate experience from sourcing → offer → joining.
  • Support onboarding coordination so new hires hit the floor confident and ready.
  • Maintain hiring trackers, daily pipeline updates, and joining reports.
  • Help with employer branding, store-level hiring events, and local outreach in Chennai.

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–2 years of recruitment experience (QSR, retail, hospitality, FMCG frontline hiring strongly preferred).
  • On-the-ground / field hiring experience is mandatory — you should be comfortable being on-site, running drives, and sourcing locally.
  • Comfortable hiring for store and shift-based teams , including bulk hiring.
  • Strong local sourcing ability in Chennai (walk-ins, community networks, referral circles).
  • Great communication skills— Tamil + English preferred .
  • Organized, proactive, and able to handle multiple open roles at once.
  • Basic proficiency in job portals + Excel / Google Sheets.
  • A people-first mindset and genuine excitement for building teams in a customer-facing brand.
  • Nice to Have

  • Experience running store-level hiring drives or campus / community recruitment.
  • Exposure to ATS tools or structured hiring dashboards.
  • Understanding of attrition patterns in QSR and how to build a steady pipeline.
  • Location & Work Setup

  • Location : Chennai

  • Travel : Frequent local travel within Chennai for outlet visits and hiring drives.
