DevOps Engineer

Carnot Research is hiring a DevOps Engineer (1–2 years experience)

Responsibilities

• Build, manage, and optimize CI / CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestrators like Kubernetes
• Monitor system performance, reliability, and uptime using modern observability tools
• Work closely with backend, frontend, and AI teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration
• Maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS / GCP / Azure) with a focus on scalability, cost-efficiency, and security
• Implement DevOps best practices : version control, automation, logging, rollbacks, and incident response
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a strong ownership mindset
