At Yosemite Crew (www.yosemitecrew.com, https : / / github.com / YosemiteCrew / Yosemite-Crew), we're creating an open, modern, and compassionate Practice Management System (PMS) designed with and for pet businesses, pet owners and developers. We're not just building software, we're building a community-powered platform that brings transparency, usability, and trust back into the tools vets rely on every day.

We’re looking for a Frontend Developer to lead development across web (React / Next.js). You’ll collaborate with our AI and backend teams to embed intelligent features that feel seamless, intuitive, and impactful.

What You'll do

  • Build and maintain high-quality mobile apps (React Native, Expo + Bare) and web interfaces (React / Next.js).
  • Integrate AI models, APIs, and services into mobile and web (OpenAI, Hugging Face, custom endpoints).
  • Design smart UI / UX flows that adapt dynamically to AI-generated content and actions.
  • Work closely with AI engineers to optimize model inference (cloud and on-device).
  • Connect apps to backend services via REST, GraphQL, or WebSockets.

What we're looking for

  • (must) 3+ years of professional experience (excluding internships) with React Native (Expo + Bare) and React / Next.js in production environments using Github
  • (must) Strong foundation in TypeScript and Mastra AI agent framework.
  • Experience integrating AI APIs (OpenAI, Replicate, or custom LLM endpoints).
  • Ability to create dynamic, data-driven UIs.
  • Familiarity with OTA updates (EAS Update, CodePush) and deployment pipelines.
  • Comfortable with app store requirements, permissions, and push notifications.
  • Understanding of AI-specific challenges on mobile and web : latency, streaming, user experience.

  • Backend experience (Node.js, Express, API development).
  • On-device inference (TensorFlow Lite, Core ML).
  • Knowledge of vector stores, RAG, and orchestration frameworks (e.g., Mastra).
  • Native module development (Swift, Kotlin) or bridging SDKs.
  • Real-time features (Firebase, sockets, pub / sub).
  • Contributions to open source projects or previous startup experience.
