Job Description
This role is ideal for a junior finance professional seeking to build a strong foundation in governance, taxation, compliance and financial processes. You will work closely with the Manager-Finance Governance & Planning, external consultants and internal teams to ensure timely filings, accurate documentation and strong internal controls.
The position is suited for someone who is detail-oriented, organised, eager to learn and looking to build a long-term career in finance governance and corporate compliance.
A. Governance & Compliance
- Assist in maintaining statutory compliance calendars and ensuring timely GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, STPI and payroll-related filings.
- Coordinate with external consultants in India and international regions for entity-specific compliance requirements.
- Prepare and organise documentation for statutory audits, tax audits and internal audits.
- Support the implementation of finance policies (procurement, travel, expense, accounting SOPs) across departments.
- Assist in monitoring inter-company documentation, transfer pricing support files and reconciliation schedules.
B. Financial Planning, MIS & Internal Reporting
Support monthly MIS preparation including data extraction, validation, basic analysis and report assembly.Assist in preparing variance reports, cost summaries, KPI tracking sheets and other management information.Help the Manager-Finance Governance & Planning in scenario modelling by gathering data, building structured templates and preparing comparison reports.Maintain organised working files, trackers and version-controlled documents for planning and compliance.Provide administrative and analytical support for ongoing finance initiatives and process improvement projects.Key Requirements
Strong foundation in accounting, taxation and statutory compliance.Good Excel and data-handling skills; willingness to learn financial modelling and MIS techniques.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Clear communication skills for coordination with internal teams and external consultants.High curiosity, discipline and willingness to learn and grow under guidance.Qualifications
Inter CA (preferred) or B.Com / M.Com with strong interest in compliance and planning.1-3 years of experience in accounting, taxation, audit assistance or compliance supportExposure to multi-entity or service-based environments is an advantage not a requirementCompensation
