Job description

About the Role :

Join a 100% remote and international team building TrueVows , the first fully automated Christian matchmaking app for singles ready for marriage. This internship is unpaid and ideal for candidates eager to gain practical experience in AI-integrated mobile app development.

Location : Remote (open to applicants worldwide)

Responsibilities :

  • Assist in developing and maintaining the mobile app ( React Native / Node.js ).
  • Support integration of the AI-based matchmaking system.
  • Help implement authentication, payment gateway, and cloud deployment.
  • Participate in feature development, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with the team and join code review sessions.

Required Skills / Experience :

  • Familiarity with at least one frontend framework : React / React Native / Angular
  • Basic backend knowledge : Node.js, Express.js, Django, or Flask (Python)
  • Understanding of databases : MongoDB, MySQL / PostgreSQL
  • Basic knowledge of REST APIs and third-party API integration
  • Willingness to learn about AI / ML concepts and cloud deployment (AWS / Firebase optional)
  • Version control basics : Git / GitHub
  • Experience can come from school projects, personal projects, or prior internships

    • Additional Candidate Preferences :

  • Bachelor’s degree or course (or currently pursuing) Computer Science, IT, or a related field
  • Strong enthusiasm, motivation, and a willingness to learn
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote, international environment
