Role Overview :

The Senior Piping Designer will be responsible for developing and overseeing piping design deliverables for onshore oil & gas projects. This includes creating plot plans, equipment layouts, piping plans, isometrics, and support details, while ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Independently develop piping designs including plot plans, equipment layouts, and piping plans.

Plan and schedule design activities in coordination with the job engineer.

Supervise and check the work of a team of 4–5 piping designers.

Review designs for completeness, safety, accessibility, and operability.

Conduct interdisciplinary checks to ensure coordination across engineering disciplines.

Prepare construction drawings and job packages including isometrics, material take-offs (MTOs), and support details.

Maintain and update comprehensive drawing lists.

Review and comment on vendor drawings.

Perform site surveys to support design accuracy.

Ensure compliance with HSES (Health, Safety, Environment, and Security) policies.

Adhere to all applicable information security policies and procedures.

Qualifications :

Education : Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience : Minimum 10 years in piping design for offshore, onshore, or drilling rig projects.

Proficiency in 3 D design software such as PDMS, AVEVA, SP3 D, or equivalent.

Strong understanding of piping materials and dimensional standards.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work across disciplines.
