Job Title : BigCommerce Project Manager

Location : Remote

Contract : 6 months

Job Description :

We are looking for a BigCommerce Project Manager to lead and oversee e-commerce projects from conception to successful delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing BigCommerce-based projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely, high-quality outcomes. If you have a passion for e-commerce platforms, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into actionable plans — we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage end-to-end BigCommerce project lifecycle — from planning, execution, and delivery to post-launch support.
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, QA, and marketing teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Gather, analyze, and document project requirements in alignment with business goals.
  • Create and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure timely delivery.
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and challenges effectively to stakeholders.
  • Ensure proper integration of third-party apps, APIs, and tools within the BigCommerce ecosystem.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks before project go-live.
  • Work closely with clients to provide updates, address issues, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Coordinate deployment schedules, testing phases, and post-launch support.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to overall team efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager in e-commerce (mandatory BigCommerce).
  • Strong understanding of BigCommerce platform capabilities, features, and integrations.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with development teams (familiarity with agile methodologies).
  • Ability to translate technical requirements into clear project deliverables.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
  • Solid understanding of e-commerce workflows — from catalog setup to checkout and fulfillment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
