Roles and Responsibilities
- System Administration & Configuration : Administer and maintain Workday Adaptive Planning models, including version control, reporting hierarchies, and user access management.
- Model Development : Design, build, and optimize complex financial models, planning templates, and forecasting tools for budgets, workforce planning, and resource allocation.
- Workforce Planning Expertise : Develop and implement strategic workforce plans, including headcount and cost planning, capacity optimization, and scenario modeling based on driver-based assumptions (e.g., hiring, transfers, retention).
- Data Integration & Integrity : Ensure data integrity and seamless integration between Workday Adaptive Planning and other source systems (e.g., Workday HCM, ERP, CRM) through monitoring, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
- Reporting & Analytics : Develop and optimize dashboards, OfficeConnect reports, and custom financial statements to provide real-time insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Process Improvement : Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to automate and enhance FP&A and workforce planning processes, leveraging the latest Workday Adaptive features.
- Cross-functional Collaboration : Partner closely with Finance, HR, IT, and operational teams to gather business requirements, align planning activities, and foster enterprise-wide collaboration.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is required. Candidates should have 5-7 years of hands-on experience with Workday Adaptive Planning. Strong understanding of financial planning processes, proficiency in modeling and reporting within Workday Adaptive, and good communication and analytical skills are essential.Workday Adaptive Planning certification and experience in a consulting role implementing planning solutions are preferred. Experience managing workforce or resource planning projects is also highly valued.Skills Required
