Senior Bridge Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bridge Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in assessing existing bridges and preparing assessment reports.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for undertaking feasibility studies, preparing new bridge designs, and ensuring compliance with UK standards and design guidelines.

Key Responsibilities :

• Undertake feasibility studies for strengthening and repair of existing bridges
• Prepare new bridge designs and strengthening designs to meet UK standards
• Carry out design and assessment checks under the guidance of a Senior or Principal Engineer
• Compile drawings, specifications, reports, and correspondence within given deadlines
• FOLLOW QA, document control, archiving & CDM guidelines on all work
• Produce high-quality work to specified WSP design standards
• Use WSP calculation templates and ensure calculation sheets comply with WSP standards
• Utilize WSP Technical library and Information systems to assist design work
• Continually develop and increase skills in MIDAS, LUSAS, Superstress, SAM, ARCHIE
• Participate in team meetings and learning sessions to disseminate information
