Data Analyst - Databricks

The ideal candidate will use their passion for big data and analytics to provide insights to the business covering a range of topics. They will be responsible for conducting both recurring and ad hoc analysis for business users.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data analysts, data engineering, or other data related roles
• Han ds-on experience in at least one query language, especially SQL.
• Han ds-on experience working with Amazon Webservices, S3, EMR, Redshift, Athena, Quicksights, etc.
• Proven experience in a data analytics role with a strong focus on exploratory data analysis (EDA).
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and PySpark specifically for data manipulation, analysis, and modeling.
• Han ds-on experience working with large datasets within the Databricks platform.
• Demonstrated ability to create insightful visualizations and dashboards using BI tools like Tableau, PowerBI.
• Experience in any data visualization tool, such as Matplotlib, Plotly, D3.js, ggplot, or any other open-source software.
• Strong statistical knowledge and an intuitive understanding of data distributions, and anomalies.
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills.
• Curiosity an d passion to learn with a strong bias to action
