Job Title : Investment Analyst – Family Office
Location : Fort Mumbai (Full-Time)

About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and analytical Investment Analyst to join our family office team in Mumbai. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the principal and investment leads on sourcing, evaluating, and managing investments across private equity, venture capital, and other asset classes. The ideal candidate is passionate about startups and private markets, has strong research and financial skills, and thrives in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Investment Evaluation & Execution
- Source and evaluate new investment opportunities aligned with the family office’s sectoral interests.
- Prepare detailed investment notes, memos, and presentations for internal decision-making.
- Conduct primary and secondary research including market sizing, competitive analysis, and customer interviews.
- Coordinate end-to-end deal execution including financial, legal, and operational due diligence.
- Liaise with legal and financial advisors to close term sheets and finalize transactions.
Portfolio Management
Maintain close relationships with portfolio company founders and management teams.Track performance metrics and prepare periodic progress reports.Support portfolio companies in achieving scale, building organizational capabilities, and meeting strategic KPIs.Assist in planning and executing exits from portfolio companies at the appropriate time.Investor Relations & Strategy
Represent investor perspectives in strategic discussions with portfolio companies.Assist startups in preparing for investor showcases and fundraising.Contribute to the development of sectoral theses and the family office’s investment strategy.Support internal reporting including LP-style updates, newsletters, and website content.Internal Operations & Support
Help define and implement systems and processes to improve investment tracking and scalability.Take ownership of assigned tasks and contribute to cross-functional initiatives.Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);familiarity with AI tools for research and productivity.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities.High degree of ownership, initiative, and attention to detail.Strong networking skills and comfort with outreach in the startup ecosystem.Qualifications
Graduate degree from a top-tier institution.MBA in Finance or CA is a must4–5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, consulting, or a VC / PE / family office environment.Prior internships, side projects, or active involvement in the startup ecosystem is a plus.Why Join Us?
