Proficient in other various desktop tools including MS Office Programs. 2+ Years of financial or accounting experience. Insurance industry experience preferred. Understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping software required. Knowledge of general financial accounting. Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles. Effectively manages time and consistently meets deadlines. Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in work. Displays professionalism and remains composed when faced with challenges. Uses standard procedures to solve routine problems. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to express information in a clear and organized manner. Works with others to achieve team goals. Gathers and applies information to provide timely responses to stakeholders.

The markets they serve include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and up fitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States.
- Run monthly reports from an agency management system.
- Create and maintain a standard journal entry list.
- Use loss runs and premium schedules to prepare monthly reserves entries.
- Assist in month-end review.
- Reconcile bank accounts monthly.
- Upload Income Statement from an agency management system into an Annual Income Statement Excel file.
- Prepare monthly PowerPoint and PDF reports for management review.
- Update Key Performance Indicators on a weekly basis.
- Review billing monthly.
- Assist in streamlining processes and procedures.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of acceptable accounting principles and practices.
