JOB TITLE : Talent Acquisition Lead : Mining & Metals

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist who brings extensive experience in building strong workforces and driving recruitment strategy. This role requires someone who understands the complexities of hiring in the Mining & Metals sector , possesses strong business partnering capabilities, and can influence leadership decisions through strategic talent insights.
You will not only manage recruitment; you will drive workforce planning, leadership hiring, and long-term talent pipeline development for critical mining operations and corporate functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for senior, technical, and niche roles across mining operations, metallurgy, engineering, HSE, and site management.
- Build and manage long-term talent pipelines for underground and open-cast mining, mineral processing, smelting, and metal production.
- Act as a strategic talent partner to Site HR, Operations Heads, Functional Leaders, and Corporate HR.
- Drive compensation benchmarking, offer structuring, and negotiation while maintaining internal equity.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies using advanced tools, mining-specific networks, and market intelligence.
- Strengthen employer branding through targeted industry campaigns, events, and campus interactions.
- Utilize recruitment analytics to improve hiring efficiency, reduce TAT, and enhance candidate experience.
- Support annual and project-based manpower planning, including expansion and greenfield / brownfield hiring requirements.
Key Skills & Requirements
15+ years of overall Talent Acquisition experience , with minimum 5 years in Mining & Metals (mandatory).Strong understanding of mining operations including open-cast / underground mining, mineral beneficiation, metallurgy, smelting, and HSE standards.Proven success in hiring hard-to-find technical roles and senior leadership profiles.Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence decision-making at senior levels.Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.Expertise in LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS systems, job portals, and advanced sourcing methods.Ability to manage multiple high-priority mandates in a fast-paced environment.Education
