Job Title : Senior Azure Cloud Architect (Terraform & Migration Expert)

Location : India - Remote

My client are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Cloud Architect with deep expertise in cloud migration, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, and Microsoft Azure services.

This is a leadership role requiring strong technical acumen, hands-on coding capability, and the ability to drive cloud transformation projects end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement cloud migration strategies for on-premises infrastructure to Microsoft Azure.

Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, following best practices.

Lead technical architecture discussions with clients and internal teams.

Establish and enforce security best practices across cloud environments.

Guide the team in building, testing, and deploying Terraform modules across Dev, Test, and Production environments.

Create comprehensive documentation for architectures, processes, and standards.

Act as a technical leader, mentoring team members and front-ending architectural reviews.

Champion DevOps methodologies, CI / CD automation, and modular infrastructure design.

Required Skills & Experience

15+ years of overall IT experience with a focus on Microsoft Azure Cloud.

8+ years of proven experience in on-prem to Azure cloud infrastructure migrations.

Expertise with the following :

Microsoft Azure services : Compute, Storage, Networking, Security.

Terraform : Writing reusable, modular IaC code and managing infrastructure.

DevOps practices : CI / CD pipelines, automation, monitoring.

Cloud security : IAM, encryption policies, NSGs, firewall rules.

Networking : VNETs, subnetting, routing, and secure connectivity.

Strong communication and client-facing leadership skills.
