Job description

Job Title : Automation Tester with Playwright

Experience : 6 to 10 Years

Budget : 14 to 16 LPA

Location : Bangalore

Type : Full-Time

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for web applications.
  • Build robust, scalable, and maintainable automation frameworks.
  • Execute automated test suites, analyze failures, and provide detailed defect reports.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure high-quality releases.
  • Implement CI / CD integration for automated tests (Azure DevOps / Jenkins / GitHub Actions etc.).
  • Identify areas for automation, improve coverage, and reduce manual testing efforts.
  • Ensure testing best practices, coding standards, and documentation are followed.

Technical Skills Required :

  • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (JavaScript / TypeScript preferred).
  • Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript or Python / Java for test automation.
  • Good understanding of API Testing (Postman, RestAssured, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of Test Automation Frameworks , page object model (POM), and scripting best practices.
  • Experience with Version Control (Git) and CI / CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with modern web technologies, DOM concepts, and debugging tools.
  • Knowledge of Test Management tools (Jira, TestRail, etc.).

    • Good to Have :

  • Experience in Performance Testing or Mobile Automation .
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure).
  • Understanding of Agile / Scrum methodology.
