Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Sales Operations Intern to support our growing sales team. This role offers hands-on experience in sales operations, data management, CRM administration, and process optimization. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, proactive, and comfortable working with sales tools and data.
Key Responsibilities
1. CRM & Data Management
2. Maintain accuracy and integrity of customer data in our CRM system, including updating contact information, account details, and pipeline status. Conduct regular data audits to identify and resolve inconsistencies or duplicates. Support the creation and maintenance of CRM dashboards and reports that track sales metrics and team performance.
3. Sales Process Support
4. Assist with the implementation and documentation of sales processes and workflows. Help prepare sales collateral, presentations, and proposals for client meetings. Support the coordination of sales meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and follow-up documentation.
5. Administrative & Analytical Support-
Compile and analyze sales data to generate reports on team performance, pipeline health, and KPIs. Assist with territory management and account allocation. Help prepare forecasts and pipeline reviews by gathering and organizing relevant data from sales representatives.
4. Tool & System Administration
- Support the configuration and maintenance of sales tools and integrations. Troubleshoot basic CRM issues and user problems, escalating complex issues as needed. Document standard operating procedures and create user guides for sales tools and processes.
- Special Projects
- Collaborate on process improvement initiatives to streamline sales operations and increase efficiency. Support the implementation of new sales tools or system upgrades. Assist with ad-hoc projects and analysis as assigned by the Sales Operations team.
Required Qualifications
Recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's degree program (preferably in Business, Finance, Communications, or related field)Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple prioritiesProficiency in Microsoft Excel (including basic formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis)Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracyStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to learn new software tools quickly and independentlyComfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentPreferred Qualifications
