Video Editor

Verd Media is hiring a full-time, on-site Video Editor to join our creative team at Beltola, Guwahati, Assam. The ideal candidate is a fast learner, fluent with modern editing workflows, and eager to work in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities :

• Edit short-form and long-form videos for YouTube, Reels / Shorts, ads, and brand films using Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• Follow Verd Media’s style guides, templates, and quality benchmarks; iterate quickly based on feedback.
• Add captions, transitions, motion graphics basics, SFX, and do rough color and audio clean-up.
• Manage project files, proxies, and export pipelines; maintain tidy timelines and asset organization.
• Collaborate with the creative team on scripts, shot selections, and storytelling; participate in brainstorms and reviews.
• Source stock footage, music, overlays, and other assets while respecting licensing and copyright.
• Leverage AI tools when relevant for ideation, image / video generation, enhancement, or upscaling.
