Galaxy Freight - Consultant - Export Pricing & Operations - Ocean

Key Responsibilities (KRAs) :

• Prepare competitive ocean export pricing in alignment with market trends and company policies
• Negotiate freight rates and contracts with shipping lines and overseas agents
• Manage end-to-end ocean export operations including booking, documentation, and customs coordination
• Ensure accurate preparation of shipping instructions, bills of lading, and export documentation
• Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely execution and delivery
• Provide clients and internal teams with regular shipment status updates
• Support sales teams with pricing inputs and customer solutions
• Maintain compliance with international trade laws, Incoterms, and export regulations
• Analyze competitor pricing and provide insights to maintain business competitiveness
• Generate operational and pricing performance reports for management

Required Skillsets :

• Strong knowledge of ocean export operations and international shipping procedures
• Hands-on experience in pricing, freight negotiations, and carrier relationship management
• Proficiency in export documentation and regulatory compliance
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client servicing abilities
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Office and logistics / ERP software
• Master's / Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Logistics, Business, or a related field
