Job description

We are urgently looking for a  Senior Backend Developer  with deep expertise in  Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC)  to join our team in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in backend development using  SFCC (formerly Demandware) , as well as Java microservices and related technologies.

This is a hybrid role requiring the candidate to work from our Gurgaon office  at least 34 days a week .

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain backend functionalities for e-commerce platforms built on  Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC)
  • Work with  SFRA, Pipelines, Controllers, ISML templates , and  OCAPI  to build scalable and secure backend solutions
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party systems
  • Collaborate with front-end, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and contribute to technical documentation
  • Lead and mentor junior developers as needed
  • Troubleshoot performance issues and implement optimizations

  • Git, Jenkins

    • Desirable :

  • HTML5, JavaScript, Node.js, AJAX
  • Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB
  • Knowledge of CI / CD pipelines
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) is a plus

    • Preferred Candidate Profile :

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in  backend development , including 3+ years specifically on  SFCC
  • Experience working in a fast-paced agile environment
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
  • Able to join  immediately or within a short notice period
  • Willing to work  3–4 days a week from our Gurgaon office
