Job Title : AS400 Developer – Healthcare & Claims Processing

Location : Remote

Job Type : Full-time

Key Responsibilities :

Develop, maintain, and optimize AS400-based applications for healthcare claims processing.

Ensure seamless integration of claims data with internal and external systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues within the AS400 environment.

Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

Assist in migrating legacy systems to modern platforms while ensuring business continuity.

Qualifications :

Proven experience in AS400 development, preferably in healthcare or claims processing.

Strong knowledge of RPG, COBOL, CL programming, and DB2 on the AS400 platform.

Experience with healthcare claims processing systems and regulations (HIPAA, ICD-10, etc.).

Familiarity with batch job processing, system performance tuning, and automation.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to Have :

Experience with IBM iSeries / AS400 tools and utilities.

Knowledge of modernizing legacy systems and migrating to cloud-based platforms.

Healthcare IT certifications (e.g., HIT, HIMSS).
