BIM Modeler

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BIM Modeler (Mechanical & Electrical) to join our design and engineering team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in CAD to BIM conversion, 3D modeling, and MEP coordination using Revit and other BIM tools. This role involves developing high-quality BIM models and drawings while ensuring compliance with project standards and design requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage 3D MEP models (Mechanical & Electrical) from CAD drawings using Revit .
• Create and modify parametric families up to LOD 500 as per project needs.
• Perform CAD to BIM conversion with high accuracy and adherence to design intent.
• Coordinate and integrate models across disciplines including HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and Fire Protection .
• Prepare installation drawings , coordination drawings , and shop drawings from BIM models.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure model accuracy and consistency.
• Use Navisworks for clash detection , model review, and coordination.
• Maintain BIM standards and ensure quality of all deliverables.
• Stay updated with evolving BIM technologies, practices, and standards.
