Area Collections Manager Roles & responsibilities

• Agency Management : Oversee and manage third-party collection agencies to ensure compliance and maximize recovery performance across personal Loans portfolios within the city / state.
• Performance Monitoring : Regularly analyze agency performance metrics (e.g., recovery rates, cycle time) and implement corrective actions for underperforming partners. Achieve weekly milestone and monthly targets assigned.
• Field Engagement : Conduct frequent field visits to both collection agencies and customer locations to audit operations and directly resolve complex recovery cases.
• Compliance & Audit : Ensure all collection activities adhere strictly to the NBFC's policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical standards.
• Team Leadership : Train, mentor, and guide agency staff and internal team members on effective and compliant recovery strategies and processes.
• Reporting : Prepare and present detailed weekly and monthly MIS reports on collection status, recovery forecasts, and key challenges to senior management.
