- Ensure effective cost management to minimize variable cost and fixed cost, as well as maintain financial discipline and plan for benchmarked improvements
- Monitor operation expenses and research ways to reduce costs while maintaining product quality
- Develop and execute the plant manufacturing budgets, including making relevant departments accountable for achievement of budgets
- Increase production, assets capacity, and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards
- Take initiatives to drive growth for DCBL / Refractories and ensure sustained growth in line with long-term and short-term objectives of the organization
2. Customer
Work in collaboration with Marketing and Quality Assurance Divisions to develop and bring to market new productsWork with the Purchasing Manager to develop and improve vendor / supplier relationships for all plant inputsCollaborate with regional Sales & Marketing teams to penetrate new markets or expand existing onesDirect and manage Industrial Relations to ensure a constructive work environment and protect unit's interests3.
