We are seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Subject Matter Expert (SME) who combines deep platform expertise with strategic consulting capabilities. The SME will act as the trusted advisor for clients, driving innovation, ensuring best-in-class execution, and guiding teams in delivering high-impact marketing automation solutions. This role requires not only hands-on technical proficiency in SFMC, but also strong communication, leadership, and storytelling skills to translate data-driven insights into business value. The SME will oversee multiple client engagements, mentor internal teams, and partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for optimization, efficiency, and innovation across their marketing automation ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
Platform Expertise & Technical Consulting
- Act as the primary SFMC advisor across multiple client accounts, ensuring best practices and platform utilization.
- Design, configure, and optimize SFMC solution,s including journeys, automations, segmentation, and personalization.
- Provide technical recommendations on data modeling, integrations, preference management, and multi-channel strategy.
- Develop advanced solutions leveraging SQL, AMPScript, SSJS(Good to Have), APIs, and integrations with CRM platforms (Salesforce, etc.).
- Develop and maintain Cloud Pages, microsites, and custom preference centers to support client-specific use cases.
- Stay updated on SFMC enhancements and broader MarTech innovations, proactively advising clients on relevant applications.
Strategic & Client Consulting
Engage with client stakeholders to map customer journeys, define lifecycle strategies, and identify optimization opportunities.Conduct audits and maturity assessments of client SFMC setups, highlighting strengths, gaps, and recommendations for improvement.Guide clients through deliverability strategies (IP warming, authentication protocols, BIMI, etc.).Ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, CAN-SPAM, and global privacy regulations. Leadership & Team ManagementOversee and mentor operational teams managing client campaigns and journeys.Manage multiple client portfolios simultaneously, balancing priorities and ensuring quality execution.Empower teams with frameworks, playbooks, and training resources to scale delivery excellence.Foster a consultative culture where teams not only execute but also identify opportunities for innovation.Cross-Channel Marketing & Innovation
Architect and execute strategies that span across Email, SMS, Push, In-App, and Social integrations.Provide cross-channel attribution insights, enabling clients to understand performance and maximize ROI.Recommend and implement advanced personalization frameworks to enhance customer engagement.Key Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on SFMC experience, with proven expertise in consulting and solutioning.Proficiency in SQL, AMPScript, APIs, and SFMC integrations.Strong understanding of email deliverability, compliance, and authentication standards.Good to have : Exposure to Salesforce CRM (Sales / Service Cloud) with the ability to advise clients on CRM-SFMC integrations.Hands-on experience with Cloud Pages and custom preference centers.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple clients and cross-functional teams effectively.Exceptional communication (written & spoken) and storytelling skills to influence stakeholders.Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate technical findings into business recommendations.Good to have : Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant Certification or equivalent.Good to have : HTML / CSS skills for optimizing templates, landing pages, and content customization.
