Associate – University Partnerships & Alumni Fundraising (Inside Sales Focus)

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our Partnerships &

Alliances team, specializing in alumni fundraising through proactive outreach. This role is

critical in driving donations for the college by engaging with a curated, warmed-up alumni

database via direct calling. The ideal candidate will be confident in inside sales techniques

and possess strong communication and persuasion skills to meet fundraising targets.

Key Responsibilities :

Alumni Fundraising & Engagement (Primary Focus)

 Proactively call and engage with individual alumni and alumni groups from a curated,

warmed-up database.

 Drive fundraising efforts through direct phone conversations, building rapport and

motivating alumni to contribute to college development initiatives.

 Execute targeted alumni fundraising campaigns supporting scholarships,

infrastructure, campus events, and other student support projects.

 Maintain detailed records of alumni interactions, donation commitments, and follow-

ups using CRM tools.

 Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop compelling pitch

materials and fundraising scripts.

 Provide timely donation updates to stakeholders and manage donor recognition

activities.

Partnerships & Alliances (Supporting Role)

 Support onboarding of new colleges for strategic partnerships aligned to

organizational goals.

 Assist in coordinating alumni and campus engagement events including webinars,

virtual meets, and skill-building sessions.

 Maintain documentation and trackers related to partner and alumni engagement

metrics.

Candidate Profile :

 1-2 years of experience in inside sales, fundraising, tele calling, alumni engagement

or outreach roles; NGO fundraising freshers with a sales mindset are also welcome.

Those who have chased hard numbers preferred.

 Strong verbal communication and persuasion skills with comfort in calling and

engaging a warm alumni database.

 Ability to work with CRM systems to manage pipelines, follow-ups, and reporting.

 Motivated by targets and able to work in a fast-paced, result-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

 Bachelor’s degree in business, Communication, Education, or related field.

 Experience in alumni fundraising campaigns, telemarketing, or donor engagement is a

plus.

 Familiarity with CRM tools and tele calling platforms.
