As a Backend engineer at Orange Health, the primary responsibility is to develop and maintain the server-side of web applications and software systems. They are responsible for creating and implementing efficient and scalable code that handles the logic, data storage, and communication between the server and client-side :
- Design and develop efficient and scalable systems that can handle large amounts of data and traffic. By building systems that can handle high loads, you can help ensure that applications run smoothly and provide a good user experience.
- As a Backend developer, you make an impact by improving the performance of applications. This can involve optimizing code, improving database queries, and implementing caching mechanisms to reduce server load and improve response times.
- You will be expected to keep up with the latest trends and best practices in web development, including new technologies, frameworks, and tools, and incorporate them into your work where appropriate.
- Taking ownership of projects from the ideation phase to deployment.
Requirements :
Bachelor's / Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science / IT (or equivalent experience).3-5 years of relevant experience in scripting languages, Python, PHP, and Golang.Strong knowledge of any of the databases like MySQL, NoSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.Hands-on experience with systems that are asynchronous, RESTful, and demand concurrency.Knowledge of best practices for all stages of software development - including coding standards, code reviews, testing, and deployment.(ref : hirist.tech)
