Job Summary

The Warehouse Executive will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations in Maniguda, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, dispatch of goods, maintaining inventory control, and enforcing safety standards. The role ensures smooth workflow within the warehouse and coordination with logistics, procurement, and quality teams.

Key Responsibilities / Duties

• Supervise daily warehouse operations : receiving, unloading, checking, storage, picking, packing, and dispatching goods
• Ensure goods received match purchase orders (quantity, quality, documentation)
• Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct cycle counts and periodic audits to reconcile discrepancies
• Organize warehouse layout for efficient space utilization, accessibility, and safety
• Coordinate with logistics / transport vendors for inbound and outbound shipments
• Monitor and ensure SOP compliance for all warehouse processes (material handling, stock movement, packaging)
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and supervise warehouse staff
• Handle documentation : GRNs, stock transfer forms, dispatch documents, material movement logs
• Generate regular reports : stock status, damage / spoilage, order fulfillment, delays
• Identify process improvements and implement best practices to optimize operations
• Ensure warehouse safety, hygiene, and security (e.g. fire safety, pest control, theft prevention)
• Liaise with procurement, quality assurance, and sales teams for material requirements and delivery schedules
• Manage returns, rejections, and damaged stock handling
• Ensure compliance with regulatory / statutory norms as applicable
