OVERVIEW

We are seeking a seasoned Maintenance Manager with strong technical expertise and leadership skills to oversee all maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal equipment performance, efficient resource utilization, and compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards.This role is suited for a proactive professional capable of driving continuous improvement and maintaining high standards across all maintenance functions.

Key responsibilities :

• Plan, organize, and review Maintenance schedules, shift working, and related activities within the maintenance department.
• Advice on relevant Maintenance updating.
• Monitor and control maintenance standards with the department.
• Ensure that the department meets established budget requirements.
• Interview and select staff in conjunction with the plant requirements.
• Ensure effective staff training is carried out and control the discipline and motivation of personnel within the department.
• Establish with the production department agreed planned services.
• Advise contracted technical staff where appropriate.
• Keep abreast of and advise management on technical developments within your field.
• Control and minimize the incidence of wastage within the department.
• Organize own work schedules and be available when necessary to match production requirements.
• Ensure that all company policies are fully implemented, particularly hygiene, health, and safety.
• Review methods of operation and working practices and make recommendations to management.
• To encourage harmonious working relationships and ensure effective communication throughout the department.
• To review the maintenance staff on a yearly basis and advise on training needs.
• Other duties as may become necessary to effectively perform this role.
