Kafka Developer (Confluent)

KAFKA / Confluent Sr Developer 5 10 yrs of experience

Proficiency in one of more programming languages (Java, Python, etc., )

Proven experience in developing applications using Confluent Kafka

The role involves developing and maintaining high-performance data pipelines and streaming applications

Familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging systems.

Knowledge of data serialization formats such as Avro, JSON, and Protobuf (2 )

Design, develop, and deploy Confluent Kafka Streams applications to process large-scale real-time data feeds

Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop solutions

Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka Streams, KSQL, and Kafka Connect

Optimize and tune Kafka Streams applications for performance, tunning latency, and throughput

Ensure data quality, data integrity, and data security in Kafka Streams applications

Develop and maintain technical documentation and best practices for Kafka Streams development

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team

Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in real-time data processing

Confluent Certified Kafka Developer is a plus

• Nice to Have :

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)

Familiarity with data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and Elastic Search
