Senior Finance Executive

Role Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Finance Executive to manage our financial operations, drive strategic insights, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial analysis, and statutory compliance, coupled with the ability to lead financial processes that enhance business growth and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities :

Financial Accounting & Reporting :

Oversee and manage the entire accounting function, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and reconciliations.

Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.

Financial Policies & Internal Controls :

Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Ensure adherence to company financial policies and statutory requirements.

Audit & Compliance :

Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including GST and TDS filing, preparing and filing returns, and managing tax audits.

Budgeting & Financial Analysis :

Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve profitability and cost efficiency.

Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Payroll & Statutory Compliance :

Oversee payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursement and compliance with statutory requirements.

Business Support & Cross-Functional Collaboration :

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business decisions and drive financial performance.

Handle daily activities like updating customer subscriptions and managing plan changes.

Financial Reporting & Analysis :

Lead financial reporting and analysis, presenting findings to stakeholders and making data-driven recommendations.

Skills & Qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CA / CPA / MBA Finance preferred.

2+ years of experience in accounting or financial management, preferably in a SaaS or technology-driven environment.

In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.

Proficiency in financial software (e.G., QuickBooks, Zoho Books) and advanced MS Excel skills.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
