Key Responsibilities :
- Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-wide DLP solutions to monitor, detect, and prevent unauthorized data access or exfiltration.
- Configure and fine-tune DLP policies, rules, and alerts aligned with business needs and compliance requirements.
- Monitor DLP events, analyze incidents, and coordinate remediation activities.
- Collaborate with IT, legal, compliance, and business units to enforce data security policies.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend improvements to data protection controls.
- Maintain and update documentation related to DLP architecture, policies, and procedures.
- Train employees on data protection best practices and DLP usage.
- Stay updated on emerging DLP technologies, threats, and industry standards.
- Assist in audits and compliance activities related to data security.
Qualifications and Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.3+ years of hands-on experience in DLP administration and management .Proficiency with DLP solutions such as Symantec DLP , Forcepoint , McAfee DLP , or Microsoft Information Protection .Strong understanding of data privacy laws and regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).Knowledge of network security, endpoint security, and data classification.Experience analyzing security logs and incident response.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Desirable Skills and Certifications :
Certifications such as CISSP , CISM , CEH , or vendor-specific DLP certifications.Familiarity with encryption technologies and key management.Experience with cloud DLP solutions and SaaS security.Understanding of insider threat detection techniques.Ability to develop training materials and conduct awareness sessions.Skills Required
