Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree in business management, operations management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in operations management or a related role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in using operational software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Summary-
Crucial role in overseeing and optimizing day-to-day working across warehousing & logistics operations of the organization. Role involves planning, coordinating, and executing various operational activities to ensure efficiency, productivity, and adherence to company goals and standards. Role involves managing multiple warehouses of the company from the Head Office.
Job description
1. Warehousing & Fulfilment Centre operations :
a. Planning : Develop and implement operational plans related :
SOPs : Standard Operating Procedures for the B2C / B2B operations at the company’s warehouse.Layout planning : Prepare efficient warehouse layout to ensure optimum allocation of space across storage, packing stations, loading / unloading docks, office, etc.Storage planning : Plan efficient space utilization and space allocation at the warehouse to ensure optimum & safe storage space. Plan optimum mix of different storage needs across pallets, racks etc. Support the company in meeting storage requirements as per business forecasts.. Manpower planning : Prepare and monitor workforce at the warehouse to achieve maximum throughput while keeping the idle manpower at the lowest. Ensure manpower is available as per business forecastsb. Team Management : Lead, motivate, and manage a team of operations staff, including warehouse managers, supervisors, coordinators, and frontline workers.
c. Process & Productivity Improvement : Continuously assess and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
d. Resource Allocation : Allocate and manage resources, including manpower, equipment, and budget, to meet operational needs effectively.
e. Quality Control : Establish and maintain quality control standards to ensure products or services meet or exceed company guidelines
f. Inventory Management :
Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock while minimizing excess or obsolete items.Maintain accurate inventory. Practice cycle count and complete inventory count to avoid discrepancies.Set standards of inventory storage to avoid damages. g. Audits : Conduct regular audits at the warehouse including inventory audit, process audit, safety & compliance audits, etc.h. Workflow automations : propose and implement warehouse workflow automations.
Vendor and Supplier Relationships : Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to secure scheduled deliveries.j. Safety Compliance : Ensure a safe working environment by implementing and enforcing safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
k. Performance Metrics : Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of operations and identify areas for improvement.
l. Training and Development : Provide training and development opportunities to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
